Cholderton Parish Meeting
Next Parish Meeting: TBA

All residents of Cholderton Parish are encouraged to attend the Village Meeting and participate in the life of the village. They may speak on any topics concerning the village. Those on the Electoral Roll may make proposals and vote.

This is real grass roots democracy. Exercise your rights (the sort of thing people give their lives for in totalitarian states) come along, have a say or just listen and vote for the ongoing good of your community in the Parish.

The agenda for the next meeting will include:
  • Set the Precept for 2008/9. This is the amount added to Council Tax for use by the village.
  • Any relevant planning applications
  • The Parish Meeting Any queries concerning the Parish meeting - please contact the Village Clerk Jeremy Disley on 01980-629645 or the Chairman Crawford Stoddart on 01980-629442. Please remember that you must be on the electoral roll to vote at Meetings. The minutes of meetings will be posted on the noticeboards outside the Crown and in Amesbury Rd and on this website. The minutes for the last Parish meeting will be posted when available at Village Meeting. More details of any news relating to the Parish meeting can also be found there.
