 News...

Planning is underway for an interesting year in 2012, including a series of monthly organ recitals in different Canberra churches.

All members and affiliates are encouraged to attend the Annual General Meeting, to be held on the 17th March at St John's Anglican Church, Reid at 2pm.

This will be followed by a short festival of some well loved hymns, interspersed with vocal and instrumental solos.

  About the RSCM...
the RSCM was initially founded as the School of English Church Music in the 1920s, with the aim of fostering excellence in church music. It is now affiliated with schools and churches throughout the UK and the rest of the world, and is interdenominational. The RSCM is active around Australia and offers membership to choirs and individuals. The annual national summer schools are highly recommended for anyone involved with church music. Individuals have the opportunity to gain internationally recognised qualifications in church music through the RSCM's Voice For Life programme.
No matter what your style, the RSCM offers educational sessions, practical experience and social occasions for anyone who enjoys church music.
